From the hearts of Hollywood, to some of the most influential media outlets in the world, Little Box of Rocks is proving to be one of North America’s fastest growing gift products, gaining international appeal since the moment it hit the marketplace.
Canadian entrepreneur and stay-at-home mom, Kiera Fogg, founded the business in October 2015, a concept she believed would either fly or flop. Two months later, the latter outcome prevailed when sales skyrocketed after the company was included in the holiday gift guides of Cameron Diaz and Gwenyth Paltrow.
“Saying ‘no’ to that deal was tough being that I had only been in business for a few months,” Fogg said. “But I had to trust my gut, and even in those early stages I could see that I was really onto something.”
Fogg’s hunch has paid off. Over the following year since the show was taped, sales online have continued to climb, exceeding company projections. This past March, we opened our doors to retailers ahead of schedule, due to the many requests.
“We’re very careful in who we work with,” Fogg said. “Our retailers are our family, so we really do our homework to make sure that we’re a right fit for them, and vice versa.”
In the past few months, Little Box of Rocks has partnered with more than 40 retailers across North America. Retailers range from gift boutiques, flower shops, clothing stores, bookstores, yoga studios and more.
One of such retailers is Pink Tartan, which is owned by Kimberley Newport-Mimran and whose husband happens to be Joe Mimran.
We have also partnered with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in creating a limited-edition collection. The Liberty bouquet can be found in the museum's gift boutique and website. This unique collection contains the actual stones used in the building’s impressive structure, intended to inspire peace, harmony, and strength.
Another very exciting partnership was made with Indigo, Canada’s largest gift retailer. Our Warrior, Affinity, Wildfire and Wildflower crystal collections can be found at Indigo.ca and in select stores.
Following all of this excitement, we're now finding ourselves preparing to go to the Canadian Gift Association's top national gift show, the Toronto Gift Fair, from August 13-16, 2017. Come and see our unique crystal collections live at booth 1230 in the International Centre.
We can feel the love...
