One of the most frequent questions I am asked as the owner of a popular online crystal shop is, "What should I do with my crystals?"

For many years, one of my favorite things to do has been to build stunning healing crystal grids. I've built them in various places in my home – a crystal grid for success in my office, a grid for romance in the bedroom, and a "good vibes grid" in the kitchen (the heart of the home). Aside from driving my family crazy with so many crystals everywhere (ha!), I found a serious passion for creating beautiful, customized healing crystal grids for the purpose of improving different areas of life.

In case you're not familiar with the term, a healing crystal grid is a collection of crystals set into a meaningful and carefully chosen shape. This powerful combination is thought to act as an energetic map to our innermost desires, dreams, and goals.

There are a handful of sacred shapes and symbols that we can draw from when building our grids, such as the Seed of Life, the Flower of Life, the Star of David, the Vesica Pisces, and even simpler shapes like the Square, Circle, and Triangle. Each shape found in sacred geometry is known to have its own unique energetic influence in our lives. The Flower of Life (pictured below), for instance, is a pattern that is repeated often in nature in things like snowflakes, the molecular structure of crystals, and cells dividing. It is a particularly powerful shape for when we wish to manifest goals and desires, or for expanding self-confidence and personal awareness.

Of course, with so many different shapes and crystals to choose from, building crystal grids can seem rather overwhelming. But crystal grids are not supposed to be reserved for clairvoyants and energy workers. This healing modality, just like yoga and meditation, can be easily adapted by anyone.
